SAHAJA MEDITATION
For the past twelve years, the Sahaja Meditation group of Dallas-Forth Worth has helped thousands of residents benefit from inner peace, balance, stress relief and better health. Weekly meditation programs and workshops have been offered as a community service in public libraries, recreation centers, community colleges, universities and corporations throughout the metroplex.
Sahaja Meditation is a not-for-profit organization working in over 100 countries and is based on a form of meditation developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, promoting balance, health, harmony and well-being. In the United States, this method is practiced in over 50 cities, and programs have been offered since 1998 at the National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C., which hosted two symposiums on the medical benefits of Sahaja Meditation. Its remarkable results are based on activating an inner potential energy through simple, natural meditation techniques taught free of charge by expert volunteers, and can be practiced at home, via 15-20 minute sessions, by people of all ages.
The DFW chapter counts among its members professionals in the fields of education, architecture and IT, business owners, executives and stay-at-home-moms, all of whom devote their time and resources to offer meditation programs at no cost to our communities. When you get so much out of something, it needs to be shared with as many as possible.
The group recently opened its first center in the metroplex, located in Carrollton. Regular programs to introduce Sahaja Meditation will be held in the center, program details as follows:
When:
Saturdays 11:00am – 12:15pm
Mondays and Tuesdays 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Where:
4300 N. Josey Lane, Suite 112,
Carrollton, TX 75010
(just North of the Carrollton Public Library at Josey Lane and Hebron).
Even though all Sahaja Meditation programs are free, since the number of seats is limited and on a first-come first-served basis, pre-registration is encouraged by calling or emailing us.
